Matt LeBlanc Is Quitting Top Gear

Matt LeBlanc has announced he’s leaving Top Gear after the next series, in a shock move that frankly nobody saw coming.
Drafted in alongside Chris Evans and Rory Reid after Clarkson, Hammond and May departed, LeBlanc has become a favourite with a lot of fans for his increasingly evident ad-libbed wit and his growing rapport with Chris Harris.
But being away from his family so much has taken its toll, according to the former Friends star. While he acknowledged it had been “great fun,” he said:
“…the time commitment and extensive travel… takes me away from my family and friends more than I’m comfortable with.
“It’s unfortunate, but for these reasons I will not be continuing my involvement with the show. I will forever be a Top Gear fan and I wish the team continued success. Thanks for a great drive.”
Thanks for the laughs @Matt_LeBlanc. What a ride! Good luck with everything you do in future. 👌🏾

Had the best time working with @matt_leblanc. Sad it had to stop, but I totally understand his reasons for doing so. Best of luck big dog!

The media frenzy over who will replace him starts now.

Sorry to hear that, shotgun his job :-p
Ah man, I actually liked his silly attitude
And watching him Go Moto biking with Chris and the Japanese Challenge, were the best things from Top gear in years!
I honestly will miss him.
But hey! At least Chris is staying?
Right?
New place for Top Gear?

Your ticket is here.
Nobody could replace the original 3 anyway.
Tom Ford! GET TOM FORD ON THE SHOW!! 🤩🤩😍😍
Aaaaaand Top Gear ratings plummet again in 3…2…1…
He was a fun presenter.
Awwwww
Thank God… I always hated how cringy he was. Chris (god) Harris should lead now, and they should add Jethro too
Not to piss anyone off but Le Blanc and Harris were better in my opinion than Reid, Reid is acting like he tries to fit in with them when he really doesn’t. Harris and Le Blanc had the chemistry….
