This McLaren 650S Was Destroyed Just Four Hours Into A Rental
Everyone knows rental cars get abused. As the joke goes, hired cars are the fastest cars in the world.
But driving a rented car like you stole it is a bad idea if you’re in something with more power than your bag of talent can cope with. One guy found this out the hard way by crashing what looks to be a 650S Spider while driving through a wet underpass in Seattle.
It was clearly a heavy impact. The front bumper is hanging off, the bonnet is bent, all the airbags have fired, the rear end is wrecked, and we’re fairly sure the visible rear brake caliper shouldn’t be at the bottom of the disc, so something is very broken behind there.
The renter, who was stone-cold sober, had only taken the keys four hours previously and has apparently tried to blame the tyres for the crash. Hmmm. If you’re wondering what you get when you combine a supercar with poor conditions, overexcitement and a shortage of both wisdom and ability, this is it.
Mind you, this isn’t the first rented 650S we’ve seen destroyed by incompetence…

There had been some more crashes in a McLaren 650s? Well, then the car itself probably has a problem, not the driver
some guy with a Prius must be laughing hard when he passed by this.
