Meet The Toyota FT-1's Evil Racing Twin

Following the success of the FT-1 concept, Toyota has created an extreme racing version that's bad enough to make even a DTM car look subdued

If you thought the FT-1 was a badass, just wait until you meet its evil twin. Toyota has teased the racing version of the Future Toyota concept that was unveiled in January, and it looks like a Le Mans Prototype racer adorned with enough aero kit to make a DTM car look subdued.

From looking at the video above, the FT-1 race car appears to have a new front diffuser and side skirts, ventilated wheel arches and a wicked top-mounted rear wing - most of this appears to be carbonfibre.

The FT-1 was designed by Calty Design Research in California, and the team was responsible for this racey makover. We just wish Toyota would just make the damn thing, call it a Supra and take it out on the track!
