A Mercedes GLA Is The Last Thing You'd Expect To See In Mario Kart, But Here It Is

As if having Mario star in a quirky advert (below) wasn’t enough, Mercedes Japan has gone one step further to promote the GLA crossover by having it appear as a downloadable car in Japanese editions of Mario Kart 8. It’s the first ‘real’ car to appear in the game, and will be available for free from this summer.

It’s yet to be confirmed if the download will be available in countries outside of Japan, but Nintendo hasn’t yet ruled that out.
