Michael Schumacher Is Showing 'Encouraging Signs' According To Ross Brawn
Updates on seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher’s recovery are rare, with his family (quite rightfully) keeping details on his condition private.
But former Ferrari F1 technical director, Brawn GP team owner and Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn – who worked with Schumacher for many years – has given a small piece of news on his recovery.
Schumacher suffered severe head injuries in a skiing accident in the French Alps in December 2013. No official update has been made on the F1 legend since he was released from hospital in September 2014.
Since then he has been recovering at home in Switzerland with his family. His manager Sabine Kehm, the only person releasing official updates, has been forced to deny rumours on his recovery several times.
She was quick to deny speculation he was able to walk, which a lawyer confirmed when a court case started in Germany over the claims from a German celebrity magazine.
Brawn was close with Schumacher, having worked with him through the German driver’s stints at Benetton and Ferrari, before they then reunited at Mercedes.
He told BBC Sport:
“The family have chosen to conduct Michael’s convalescence in private and I must respect that. There are encouraging signs and we are all praying every day that we see more of them. So it is difficult for me to say very much and respect the family’s privacy.
“All I would say is there is a lot of speculation about Michael’s condition. Most of it is wrong and we just pray and hope every day that we continue to see some progress and that one day we can see Michael out and about and recovered from his terrible injuries.”
Keep fighting, Michael.

So sad to read such news about this big of a legend
It was saddening and unfortunate to find out about Michael’s accident back then, as well.
Summary: He told us nothing. We hear “encouraging signs” from Sabine every 6 months or so. I’m amazed you manage to throw “all” (sic) of this information into an article ;-)
Sad to say it, but…
Is he at least awake?
Or is he still comatose
Awake

Wait what? He basically told us nothing
