This Modified BMW 750LI Looks Like It Escaped From The Set Of Tron
As someone who writes stuff for a living, it’s not an ideal situation to be rendered speechless. But after being sent this eBay listing by a colleague, I’m struggling to find words.
I mean…wow. Just, wow. It’s a bit of a feast for the eyes, isn’t it?
It started out life as a 2012 ‘F01’ 750Li, but has since received a widebody kit, Forgiato Wheels and various unspecified “custom enhancements” spoken about in the surprisingly vague listing.
The result is a car that looks like a vision of the future you might have seen in a sci-fi film from the 1980s, or something that’d look at home in another ill-judged Tron sequel.
The thing is, whether you like the mods or not, they do look at least to be well executed. The fit and finish looks good (from the images at least), and the kit doesn’t have any weird proportions that’ll make your eyes bleed. We’ll stop short at defending the six exhaust pipes, however.
It’s not what you’d call cheap, though: the seller is asking for $54,500, about $20,000 more than what you’d pay for a stock 2012 750LI…

True, it’s actually well done…but I’m afraid I don’t really like
or a chav stole some money and has got his hands a 7 series 😷😒🔫
I believe this is the F02, since it looks like it’s a LWB version. And yes, I’m that pedantic.
I like the look
Love it besides the wheels.
That’s the most stupid thing I’ve seen all day. Whoever did this probably took inspiration from a blank piece of graph paper!
Well still looks better than stock.
If only it had better wheels and the kidney grill was either chrome or black, I’d be pretty okay with it.
