This Monstrous TA22 Toyota Celica Packs A V8 And A GT-R AWD System
With V8 power and the all-wheel drive system from a Nissan GT-R, this 1000bhp TA22 Celica is the best kind of mongrel!
We’re willing to be you haven’t seen a classic Celica quite like this one.
‘Frankenstein’s Monster’ is a pretty apt description for this 1971 example, as sitting under the bonnet is a turbocharged 4.0-litre Toyota/Lexus V8, hooked up to a sequential gearbox and the all-wheel drive system from a Nissan R35 GT-R. Oh, and it also features a smattering of R34 bits for good measure.

Adnan be like : “fake”
1000hp and AWD in something that weighs less than Adnan Ebrahim ‘s rear wing makes for some pretty good skidmarks, and i don’t mean on the tarmac.
Celica! Yes! My mom used to own a grey ‘75 GT. She was taught how to drive stick in it.

So you took a non-computer car and shoved in the bit that makes the GT-R a computer.
And ? It’s an epic build
