The Most Incredible Bentley Continental In The World Is How You Need To Start Your Day
If you’re going to buy any Bentley, make it this one. The Dakar rally-inspired off-road Continental GT featured in an episode of Supercar Megabuild is up for sale on eBay in the UK.
This mighty conversion, wrapped in khaki green over its original silver paint, is based on a full-fat 2004 Continental GT with the 6.0-litre W12 and a full Bentley main dealer service history up to 119,000 miles. We wonder what they’d say if you took it back for its next service in this spec, and you could do exactly that because it has a full MOT and is road-legal. Sweaty palms are happening.
It offers a pretty awesome combination of comfort and go-anywhere talent, with the original cream and blue interior exactly as it should be, so that includes heated front seats, sat-nav with real-time traffic updates, a six-speed automatic gearbox and cruise control, plus loads more. Come on, it’s a Bentley; it’s not exactly Spartan.
Let’s not forget the permanent all-wheel drive, adjustable ride height, automatic windscreen wipers and parking sensors, which could be useful since the rear window line of sight is blocked by rack-mounted jerry cans and a chunky off-road spare wheel and tyre, matching those that have been fitted to the raised suspension.
Speaking of the bouncy bits, there are eight Quantum Racing shocks, two at each corner to support the GT’s immense weight. As part of the switch, custom lower suspension arms were installed. The original alloys have been swapped out for more practical steelies and 265/65 dual-purpose tyres covered by wheel arch extensions. The wrap-around rack also functions as a roll cage.
Naturally, something like this needs under-body bash plates and the Bentley gets them, covering the under-side of the engine and the most vulnerable parts of the drivetrain. Strictly speaking, the Lazer spotlights on the roof aren’t totally necessary, but why wouldn’t you? They look fantastic up there.
According to the eBay listing some £25,000 was spent on the mods that turn it into a genuine off-roader, but it’s not quite finished. There’s more to do if a new owner wants to make it into a full rally-capable beast, which is to say something that can compete for wins rather than just finishing rally stages. As Top Gear once proved, even the standard Continental GT can do that…
The bad news is that someone who used to be in a boy band has driven it on TV, but you’d have to overlook that. At the time of writing the bidding was up to just over £40,000, with the auction due to finish on Saturday evening.

Proves how modding/age ruins the value of a luxury car
You can’t. Modifying a car (especially a luxury car) ruins its value, even more so if the mods don’t fit the car at all. A stock Bentley would be worth more.
Yea, i saw the episode and they bought the Bentley for around 165000$
Selling used Kidney, well maintained, barely used. Will also trade for Bentley.
Luxury and offroading capabilities? Now THAT is my kind of car
