MotoGP Champ Marc Marquez Raced Up A Ski Slope, Because He's An Utter Badass
MotoGP riders are a rather inhuman bunch, aren’t they? We’re talking riders who cling on to 230bhp two-wheeled monsters race after race, suffer the often horrific injuries associated with bike racing crashes, and dust themselves off to race again - often before they’ve even recovered fully.
We get it guys - you’re insanely tough, very brave and possibly a little nuts. So we don’t particularly need further proof of the badassery associated with this profession, but regardless, Red Bull decided to provide that by sending reigning GP champion Marc Marquez up a ski slope on one of those aforementioned 230bhp bikes.
Equipped with spiked tyres, Marquez made his way up the slope in Austria’s Kitzbühel Alps quite spectacularly.
It looks to be the same place Red Bull used for a similar run involving an F1 car with snow chains driven by Max Verstappen. In that case though Red Bull was sent a fine of €30,000 for not having official approval to do the stunt, even though it insisted everything was above board. Hopefully there won’t be any trouble this time…
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.

i don’t exactly know what happened, it was filmed like a fight scene in a movie. to me it looked like he went up a couple hills and down a couple. Not knocking him just the editors
