As expected, a massive Need for Speed announcement has just dropped, confirming a load of details about the next game in the hugely popular franchise – Need for Speed Payback – and it looks very fast and furious
Need For Speed Payback Has Been Announced, And It’ll Arrive This November

Last month EA and Ghost Games said they were going to be “paying it back” with the next Need for Speed game, but we didn’t actually think it’d be called ‘Need for Speed Payback’.

Yep, the official announcement, first trailer and screenshots have all been released for the newest NFS instalment – which’ll be arriving for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on the 10 November 2017.

While it retains some of the most popular features from past NFS games, NFS Payback definitely appears to have a more Fast and Furious vibe to it – especially with focus being on a high-octane story plot.

The single-player campaign revolves around former street racer Tyler Morgan and his crew getting payback on those who double-crossed and exiled him, taking on ‘The House’ – a cartel who control casinos, criminals and even the police.

It’s set in an area called Fortune Valley, which includes the city of Silver Rock. The map appears to be pretty vast, with lots of different sectors to explore – from deserts to mountains and the city itself.

Unlike its predecessors, players will be in control of three characters in NFS Payback: Tyler, Mac and Jess (nicknamed “the Racer”, “the Showman” and “the Wheelman” respectively).

A wide range of car types will be on offer to drive as well, with five classes: Race, Drift, Off-Road, Drag and Runner. There’s certainly more variety than in past NFS titles and off-roading looks like a lot of fun.

As we already heard in the initial release, there’s a renewed focus on customisation to create “unique rides” and the ability to play in an offline mode – something that was previously lacking.

It definitely sounds like there’s a lot going on in NFS Payback, and it’ll be hitting the real-life and virtual gaming shelves on the 10 November.

Pre-orders get the Platinum Car Pack with five unique customised and tuned cars, while the Deluxe Edition gives access to the game three days before it’s released.

There’s plenty more to come from NFS Payback at EA Play, which starts on the 10 June. Are you excited by today’s announcement? Let us know in the comments!

Sounds like a kinda re-vamped carbon. Carbon was the first NFS game I played so I’m kinda hyped…

I love games that give me adrenaline in my blood and know that a lot of people play these games for money. This is similar to gambling, because in any game you can bet. I would advise you to read the news from the world of gambling https://www.svenskkasinon.se/nyheter/spelbolag-valjer-att-oka-sin-arbetskraft-med-hela-14/ and perhaps you will understand a lot for yourself. It seems that next year is preparing a lot of changes for everyone.
