New Model S P100D Software Optimisation Will Enable A 2.4-Second 0-60mph Time

Elon Musk has revealed that software optimisation for the Model S P100D next month will enable it to hit 60mph in a scarcely believable 2.4 seconds!
New Model S P100D Software Optimisation Will Enable A 2.4-Second 0-60mph Time

Next to the Model S P100D’s new 2.4-second 0-60mph time, it’ll also demolish the quarter-mile run in only 10.6 seconds.

For context, the new update makes the Model S as fast to 60mph as a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse and 0.1 seconds faster than a Koenigsegg One:1. That’s what you call progress, I guess…

Tesla unlike anything from the VW group, tend to overstate their 0-60 times a little bit. An RS6 Performance will easily match a P90D in a quarter mile. Even though Audi rate that car in the high 3s for 0-60.
