The Next Subaru WRX Looks Offensively Boring In Leaked Images
If you fell head-over-heels in love for the awesome WRX concept Subaru brought out earlier in the year, prepare for disappointment. Only a few hours after releasing a cheeky teaser picture (below) ahead of the LA Auto Show, these images of the new and very bland WRX were leaked.
If these pics are anything to go by, the new Scooby is set to look barely different to the anonymous-looking standard Impreza it's based on, albeit with some extra exhausts and that famous bonnet scoop. This is a big shame, but at least it's not quite as ugly as the hideous five-door hatch WRX STi that debuted in 2007.
The latest WRX is expected to pack the familiar four-wheel drive system and 2.5-litre turbocharged boxer engine, so at least it'll retain that iconic Subaru burble.
