This Nissan Micra Cup Race Very Quickly Descended Into Carnage

Last weekend's Micra Cup race at Calabogie in Canada had a chaotic start, with much of the field caught up in a massive pile-up

Fortunately, no serious injuries were caused by this massive pile-up. The fact that these pint-sized racers - built by Nissan itself - come with FIA-approved racing seats, five-point harnesses and full roll cages was no doubt a big factor in keeping all the competitors safe.

The accident was caused by an incident at the front of the pack, which caused a chain reaction leading to the massive smash you see here.

In Serbia we had something like this, car was Yugo ofc. no performance mod allowed, just safety ones. It was called “Small N” driven by young drivers and amateurs in motorsport.
