This handsome little devil is no ordinary Ferrari 488 GTB. No, it’s a Ferrari 488 GTB that’s had the entire Novitec Rosso catalogue lobbed at it, and the results are mighty pleasant to the eye.

The most obvious parts of the new upgrade programme from Novitec concern exterior bodywork. Here, a load of aero components - including a new front lip spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear wing - have been added, all of which are gloriously naked carbonfibre items.

The Novitec Rosso Ferrari 488 Is Here In All Its 761bhp Glory

Like the Novitec Torado Lamborghini Aventador SV we were looking at a few weeks ago, this kit offers the option of making an already jolly low car even lower. In the case of the 488, Novitec will drop it by 35mm, although there is a hydraulic nose lift feature that props the front up by 40mm, which will help you avoid smashing that gorgeous front spoiler to pieces on the first speed bump you encounter.

The car rides low on a set of obnoxiously large wheels of the company’s own design, measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear.

The standard 488 is already a potent beast with 661bhp and 561lb ft of torque available, but should you want a little more than that, there’s an option for you. Novitec will bump that figure up to 761bhp and 658lb ft - accessible via a switchable mapping system - making 0-62mph possible in 2.8 seconds, while at the top end it’ll max out at 212mph.

No prices are given for the upgrades, but since this is the exclusive world of supercar tuning, expect them to be on the expensive side.

Everyone is complaining about sports car and supercars going turbo, but here is a great example of one of the advantages, a simple remap (and probably an exhaust) and it picked up 100hp!
Do that on a N/A engine…

And that 488 is just beautiful :O

Anyone else think that the rear looks a bit like a face with a moustache?

“…but should you want a little more than that…” Apparently 100bhp and ~100lb ft increase is not enough.
