Now's Your Chance To Buy A Box-Fresh Mk1 Mazda MX-5 With 300 Genuine Miles

If you click on this eBay link right now, you’ll find a 1990 Mk1 Mazda MX-5 with a starting bid of $13,000. That’s damn expensive for car like this, and the reason for the inflated price is simple: it’s box-fresh with only 300 miles on the clock, which means that this dry-stored MX-5 could be the cleanest example in the world…

According to the seller, it’s a one-owner car, has never seen the rain, and apparently, has never had its hood up. Now I’m not sure that this last bit is a true selling point, but just imagine the feeling you’ll get when you know that you’d be the first one to pop the MX-5’s roof cherry.
I’ll be watching this auction (ending Monday) with interest. How much do you think it’ll go for?
Shout out to Jesus Garcia for the tip!

I couldn’t own this beautiful example. I’d drive it stock for maybe a day…. By the end of the week it’d have Hawk HP Plus brake pads, Motul RBF600 fluid, stainless braided brake hoses, stainless braided clutch line, probably coilovers, a Hard dog roll bar and a turbo kit waiting to go on lol. #tracklife
I would feel bad owning this car, I rarely say this but I think this belongs in a Museum if it’s only done 300 miles
If I won the lottery I’d love to buy it just to give it to Haggard Garage so they can mess it up, sorry phil.
300 Genuine miles and half the body genuine rust!
Damn, If I could, I would buy it, but most likely I wouldn’t fit comfortably in the car… so maybe I wouldn’t get it…
I personally wish that whoever buys this car keeps it as it is
Not every single JDM has to be modded to be beautiful
It’s almost on par with the handful of Mk1’s at the Mazda USA HQ. Been in their storage from new, doing only car shows and I think less than 1,000 miles.
Here are a few reasons I couldn’t own it.
I’d rather buy a used one for 1300 and drive until it starts to fall apart or gets devoured by rust.
Please don’t send this link to Haggard Garage…
