The hunt is on in New York for a man filmed knocking a police officer down with his car during an escape from Times Square, where he and some buddies were causing trouble.
The offender was driving a black Mercedes C63 AMG, drifting and lighting a one-tyre fire along sections of the famously brightly-lit square in Manhattan before an NYPD cop, on foot, tried to arrest him. The driver hit the gas and pushed the policeman a short distance before knocking him to the floor and speeding away.
After that, the chase, filmed the whole way, moved down a block or two where it seems that the driver side-swiped a whole bunch of cars in order to get away. There’s every chance that the car was stolen, the driver had no licence and/or insurance, or there was a huge stash of drugs on board. Or worse.

Just wanna say how brave that officer was for holding on. The driver of the car must have been on drugs or sth. These people need their license taken away immediately and to jail. I would say this is attempted murder
