Is An Old Porsche Cayenne Turbo The Most Car You Can Buy For £10k?

A friend of mine just purchased a used Porsche Cayenne Turbo (ignore the S badge the previous owner unfortunately fitted) for just £11k. As you can hear in the video above, it makes an awesome noise. Whatever you think of these SUVs, particularly the unenviable looks, there’s no denying that’s a hell of a lot of car for the money. In fact, prices start at well below £10,000 in the UK.

For that, you get an absolutely enormous car with a cavernous interior capable of swallowing five people and their luggage with ease. Under the bonnet there’s a 4.5-litre turbo V8 kicking out 450bhp, which slings this two-tonne beast from 0-62mph in just 5.6 seconds. And with that ride height and four-wheel drive system, you could even take it for a little (light) mud plugging should you be in the mood.

If I had £10k and needed a good all-rounder, a Cayenne Turbo would certainly be a contender. But can you think of a car which offers more for the money?
