Only A Smooth Criminal Would Bid On Michael Jackson's Exclusive Ferrari Testarossa
We have some great news for hardcore (and well-heeled) Michael Jackson fans: a Ferrari Testarossa driven by the King of Pop himself is being auctioned. The car will go under the hammer next week at the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company in Scottsdale. The MJ connection is interesting, but to us, this Ferrari is intriguing for a whole different reason: it's a convertible.
While Maranello made a sole drop-top Testarossa - which was gifted to then Fiat head Gianni Agnelli - there was never a proper production version. This 'Rossa was adapted at a cost of $40,000 by the Californian R. Straman Company for use in a 1987 Pepsi advert starring Michael.
