This Picture Proves That Merc Has Always Been Ahead Of The Curve

This incredible image shows a trio of vehicles taking on the Merc's scary steep-banked curve test

Taken in 1984, this extreme picture shows a Mercedes 190E, W126 and O 303 bus ploughing round the incredible steep-bank curve at the Mercedes plant in Stuttgart. Drivers enter the curve - which is used for intensive vehicle testing - at 95mph, whereupon the car will be tilted 90 degrees on the extreme banking section.
