Prepare Yourselves: Tesla's Semi Truck Will Be Here On 26 October
It’ll be about a month later than previously thought, but Tesla’s potentially game-changing all-electric truck is just a few weeks away from being revealed.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed on Twitter that the ‘semi truck’ (that’s an articulated lorry, to us Brits) will be revealed on 26 October in Hawthorne, California - the home of Tesla and Space X. Along with the reveal, there’ll also be passenger test rides.
Elon Musk describes the vehicle as a “beast”, and says that it’s “unreal” - because of course he does. According to a report from Reuters last month, initial versions will have a more modest 200 - 300 mile range, but that will climb, to the point where the Tesla semi can compete with the 1000 mile ranges enjoyed by conventional diesel-powered lorries.
The truck is all part of Tesla’s ambitious expansion plans, that include fulfilling the hundreds of thousands of Model 3 orders, and later putting into production the Model Y compact crossover plus an as-yet unnamed pick-up truck.

I just really hope they don’t add the autopilot feature to these trucks.
No thanks. I’d rather stick to the old school straight piped 80s V8 Scanias.
… Do you have one ?
0-60 in 3 - 5 seconds would be amazing 😂
