This Is Probably The Fastest A Stock Engine NA Mazda MX-5 Has Ever Lapped The Nurburgring

From the guys who brought you the RingBanana, we have a different driver and a different MX-5, but the results are just as incredible! Much faster machinery is dispatched by this plucky 1.6-litre Mazda, which is merely wearing better pads, coilovers and tyres

So smooooooooooth. You can see how light his touch and grip is on the wheel as well.

Even when things get a little over the edge he just calmly reigns it in again.

Better drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow.

So looking at the ‘ring’s leaderboard; in between Focus ST and Honda NSX. Nice!

Those are full laps whenever it’s a manufacturer test. This is just BTG which is about 25-30 seconds shorter depending on the car.

My commentary-reaction to this video:

  1. Well, clearly, we can hear that he is fast because of the wind
  2. Decimates Porsche OMG He’s MENTAL!
  3. Overtakes a Golf R Can you not ovetake from the right at the ‘ring?
  4. 2 series pass him Annnd he’s gone
  5. RingGarage passed him Why is everybody passing on the right?

demolishes the notion that you need high hp to have a good lap time etc.
