The Production Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Is Here And It Costs £500k
When Aston Martin unveiled the spectacularly gorgeous Vanquish Zagato Concept at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, there wasn’t a doubt in our minds that it’d be put into production. And sure enough, Aston Martin has now announced its fifth collaboration with the Milanese coachbuilders, and designers will get a production run of 99. The price? £500,000 apiece.
As with the concept, the soon-to-be-extinct 5.9-litre V12 has been turned up to 592bhp. This time though, we’re given a better idea of the performance, with a ‘projected’ 0-60mph time of 3.5 seconds stated - a tenth down from the standard Vanquish.
The exterior is a blend of different design ideas from different Astons. The rear light clusters have the ‘bladed’ LED tech seen on the Vulcan, the wing mirrors are similar to the ones found on the One-77 and the rear-three quarter is inspired by the DB11’s aero profile. Oh, and all that bodywork is made from carbonfibre. Lovely.
On the inside, we’re looking at lashings of Herringbone carbonfibre and anodised bronze, posh quilted leather with a ‘Z’ pattern (see what they did there?) as well as Zagato Zs embossed on the headrests.
The cars will be built to order at Aston Martin’s factory in Gaydon, with first deliveries taking place early 2017.

I saw the front and nearly came. Saw the back and threw up. Thanks Aston Martin.
