Regarding the loss of data today

Today at approximately 15:30 GMT our master database suffered a catastrophic failure and as a result all data was lost. Our database is managed by a 3rd party.

Today at approximately 15:30 GMT our master database suffered a catastrophic failure and as a result all data was lost. Our database is managed by a 3rd party.
We were able to act quickly and get a new database online by 16:15 GMT. We reverted to a database backup created at 11:00 GMT today (September 21st).
Unfortunately everything that was created between 11:00 and 16:15 GMT has been lost forever. This includes user accounts, comments, posts and topics you might have followed.
We’re really sorry for the inconvenience, but as always really appreciate you guys’ patience when things go wrong for us. Every experience we learn from.

Then you should switch to a Volvo-made server. That way, when something does go wrong, it’ll be because the internet broke, not your server. xD
Thanks for keeping us in the loop though! Hopefully nothing important was lost on the back-end of the website!
