Rejoice: A Roadster Version Of The New NSX Is Coming

The all-new NSX is already an exciting prospect, just imagine it as a roadster

Not too long ago, Honda's American luxury brand Acura released a glorious video of the all-new NSX, which was dominated by the delectable howl of its V6. Acura today announced the awesome news that a roadster version will follow two years after the coupe, so you'll be able to get even closer to that sonorous engine note.

Acura made a one-off roadster version of the NSX (above) for the 2012 Avengers film, which gives some idea of what the finished product might look like. The coupe is expected in 2015, and will feature a mid-mounted V6 and electric motor powering the rear axle, and a pair of separate electric motors powering the front axle.
