Remember the video of a police officer's disastrous attempt at trying to stop speeding bikes? It turns out there's more to the story than many realised. With a film crew present in that clip, it looked as though a police documentary series was being shot, and the crew happened to catch the accident as it unfolded.

As you can see from this full, uncut video, it turns out the reality was very different. The event was staged for part of a TT circuit guide filmed a few years ago, which intended to show a police officer stopping a group of speeding riders.

Unfortunately, Stuart Peters, the rider of the second bike, used only the Suzuki SV650's less powerful rear brake when trying to stop, meaning he slammed into the bike in front. The worst part? It was a borrowed bike...
