This S2000 Advert Has The Most Optimistic Use Of 'Repairable' We've Ever Seen

This salvage company reckons the utterly destroyed Honda S2000 it's selling can be repaired, but we beg to differ

Having an accident-damaged car for sale is nothing unusual. Car salvage companies sell crashed motors for a knock-down price, enticing people who either fancy repairing them to put back on the road, or strip for spares. This salvage Honda S2000 deserves honourable mention, however. Despite almost every panel being stoved in, the interior wrecked and the engine bay burnt to a crisp, it's up for an outrageous £1495.

Given that non-crashed S2000s can be picked up from £4000 these days, that's a ridiculous price for one that looks to have been Pastor Maldonado's daily driver. Not only that, the seller refers to it as 'repairable'. Really? Repairable? As we know, the S2000 is a versatile beast, but coming back from the dead isn't something it can do.

The seller mentions that the accident hasn't been recorded so it won't be down as an insurance write-off, but that's besides the point when it's far too destroyed to resurrect.

The seller mentions a 'slight under bonnet fire.' If you take a look at the utterly charred engine and bonnet, you can see the fire was a little more serious than that...

Our favourite part though is how we're told that the car 'was tidy car before crash!!' That's nice to know, but in the state it's in now, not entirely relevant.
