Say Hello To The 2000hp Trion Nemesis: The Latest Far-Fetched Supecar Start-Up
Barely a week goes by without an ambitious new supercar start-up company coming out of the woodwork, usually with an LS V8-powered product and some far fetched claims. The latest one is the Nemesis from California's Trion Supercars, and sure enough it's powered by a twin-turbo V8 (no doubt an LS) and is offering 1973bhp (2000hp) and a 280mph top speed.
That'd be enough to beat the Koenigsegg One:1 and whichever of the many variations of Bugatti Veyron you want to throw at it. With a carbonfibre chassis and body it promises to be low weight, too.
It'll also have a 'Predator Mode,' which alters the suspension, exhaust, cabin illumination and rev limit. All of this, though, is probably meaningless - these overly-ambitious supercar plans rarely come to fruition. At least the claims aren't quite as delusional as those of the 5000hp Devel Sixteen...
Trion says that the car is in a very early stage of development, and that the first prototypes are due to be built next month.
