Say Hello To Team CT's New Suzuki Swift Sport Longtermer: What Do You Want To Know?
Big news from Team CT this week! We have a new arrival in the form of this cheeky little scamp: the Suzuki Swift Sport. Unlike most test cars we book in, which come and go within about a week, the Swift will be sticking around for the next three months; we’re in it for the long haul to find out what the car is like to live with.
Powering the front wheels is a 1.6-litre, naturally-aspirated four-pot petrol engine, putting out 136bhp and 118lb ft of torque. It’ll do 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds, and top out at 121mph. Doesn’t sound all that impressive, and it’s a long way off the performance of our other new longtermer (more details on that soon), but this is one of those cars that’s all about affordable entertainment. It costs £14,449, and is cheap to insure and run, but will still put a smile on your face without too much difficulty.
Over the next few months, we plan to get all sorts of content out of it, from blogs, to group tests and the occasional video. But, we want you guys to get involved, too. What would you like to see us do with the Swift, and what do you want to know about it? Give us your ideas and questions in the comments below!
