This Shocking Hit And Run Is Exactly Why Illegal Car Meets Must Be Avoided

During a weekend of tragic events - including an ‘organised’ monster truck demonstration gone bad - footage of another shocking event has emerged online.

At an illegal car meet - called the Oakland Sideshow - a Mustang driver attempts donuts in front of a crowd.

Unfortunately however, the driver fails to break traction, instead turning the car quickly towards the crowds. Realising his mistake, the reckless driver pins the throttle in the desperate hope that he’ll avoid causing harm.

As you can see from the video screen grab above, he fails the manoeuver and drives straight through a group of onlookers, hitting another car as he does so.

The most disturbing part of the video - if it’s possible to single one part out - is that the man again buries his foot to the floor and flees the scene of his shocking crime.

Little is currently known about whether or not the man was caught and if anyone was seriously injured. One thing that we can take from this incident is knowledge: do not attend an illegal car meet. Not only do they give all organised car meets a bad name, they can also prove fatal.
