Should Our BMW M2 Longtermer Be A Manual, Or An Automatic?
This September, a BMW M2 will be joining TeamCT's long-term test fleet. But what kind of gearbox should it have? We want you to help us decide!
Recently, we enjoyed a very entertaining week with a BMW M2, which saw us bomb down the autobahn to the Nurburgring N24 and go for a lap of the Nordschleife. Since we’re greedy, we still wanted more time with the M2, and fortunately, we’ve been granted our wish: this September a BMW M2 will be joining Car Throttle’s long-term test fleet, alongside ‘our’ Honda Civic Type R and another awesome car which is set to arrive in the coming weeks.
Whatever happens the M2 will be a Long Beach Blue example, but we have been given a choice of transmissions: the six-speed manual, or the seven-speed dual-clutch. To help us make our decision, we want to know what kind of M2 you’d rather see. Get voting!

I’d say manual, because we already know the DCT is good. BMW’s manuals are not known as the best shifters out there, and I want to know if this one’s any good.
Manual
Manual is for real petrol heads
Manual only supercars need auto and old people who have had a stroke and cant use there left arm
auto (let the butthurt begin).
Apparently the m2 engine and auto box is the best drivetrain in the world, not my words, the words of Mat Watson (car wow)
