So apparently, new spy shots of the new Supra have been released, it's not bad. (The News #1 by Charles the Miator)

So as you can see, if your not blind at least, these are spy shots of the new Supra, and they are quite good. It’s starting to become clear that it’s using some styling cues from the FT-1.

The rear tail lights are starting to resemble the iconic tail lights from the mk4 Supra, and again, not bad.

I’m really excited for the revealing of this car, as I’m sure you guys are too. But don’t get your hopes too high, cause it’s possible that it’s just a Prius in Supra’s clothing.

It may be because I own a mk4 supra, but this looks amazing in my opinion!

Am I the only one who actually like Hybrid sports cars? There’s a reason they’re becoming popular. Also Toyota have had lots of experience in high performance hybrids with their WEC programme and with their road cars. I know speaking an unpopular opinion on CT is treated like killing a puppy but I honestly hope it’s hybrid, a leap forward for sports cars.

You know, i agree. The supra is not only defined by a straight 6 and rwd, but being at the edge of technology. It wouldnt make sense to build a car with outdated stuff just to please those who will never buy one anyways. Just because they build a new one, you can still adore and respect the a80.
Its a bit like music. When theres a band bringing out a new album, none forces you to love it more than the older ones. They will surely make music fitting the times but if your favourite album of said band is an older one, thats just perfectly fine. The tracks are still there to listen to.

It looks tall, and the visibility of this thing must suck due to the ducktail and high window line. One thing i like about it, they are using normal sized wheels and not some oversized wheels we can see on other performance cars today.
