A Spooked Driver Ploughed Through A Crowd Of 'Zombies' At Comic Con
At least one person was injured when a car ploughed through an organised 'zombie walk' at the San Diego Convention
This bizarre incident happened yesterday when a driver’s path was blocked by a crowd of San Diego Comic Con attendees dressed as zombies. The driver started to move forward into the crowd, at which point several of the pedestrians attacked the car, one smashing the windscreen. After this the car - occupied by a couple and their children, all four of them deaf - sped through the crowd, knocking several people over and causing moderate injuries to a 64-year-old woman, and minor injuries to others.
Some members of the crowd gave chase, but the black Honda was stopped by police shortly after. According to police, the couple’s children were frightened by the large ‘zombie’ crowd, which is presumably what prompted the driver’s rash actions.
