This Stelvio-Based Render Previews The Ferrari SUV-That-Isn't

A designer has grafted a Ferrari front end onto an Alfa Romeo Stelvio ahead of the real thing's arrival, and the results... well, judge for yourself

We know you all love the idea of a Ferrari SUV-but-definitely-not-an-SUV, so we couldn’t pass this by without bringing it to you.

These neat renders come from Brazilian designer Kleber Silva. Essentially he has moulded a Ferrari nose onto the body of an Alfa Romeo Stelvio, added Scuderia shields on the wings and, of course, five-spoke Ferrari alloy wheels.

We’d expect the forthcoming Ferrari nope-still-not-an-SUV to be a bit more visually aggressive than this, given the latest – and stunning – styling work on the 488, The Portofino and the GTC4Lusso. But this is nonetheless a first pretend glimpse at the car Ferrari once said it would never make.

Would you rather have this, or the mad Lamborghini ‘Urus Performante’ we showed you last month?

FUV piffle. I liked the idea of the FF and GTC4 Lusso. They already have a practical Ferrari, so why make an SUV, I mean F… SUV?! It’s so annoying, SUVs suck unless they are genuinely fit for purpose and USED for it. Supercars showboating is fine, SUVs are just annoying, they are the Kardashian-mobiles of this world.
