This Stunning Ferrari 335 S Scaglietti Was Sold At Auction For £24.7m
A 1957 Ferrari 335 S Scaglietti has sold at auction in Paris for a staggering €32 million, becoming the most expensive car to ever be sold in Euros.
It was snapped up at an Artcurial Motorcars auction by an “international buyer”. The beautiful piece of historic racing machinery has become the second most expensive car ever sold at auction, behind a Ferrari 250 GTO sold in 2014.
The official price it was purchased for was €32,075,200 (£24,693,782 and $35,711,359). Chassis 0674 was raced by numerous great drivers, including Peter Collins, Mike Hawthorn, Stirling Moss and Wolfgang von Trips.
It previously competed in some of the world’s most famous races, like the Sebring 12 Hours, Mille Miglia (where the car finished second in 1967) and the Le Mans 24 Hours, where it set a lap record. It also won the 1958 Cuban Grand Prix.
Only four cars were produced by Ferrari and they were powered by V12 engines producing 390bhp and taking it to a maximum speed of around 186mph.

God that thing is gorgeous. But dat wiper tho…
I can imagine seeing a car salesman selling this car and the customer asks why the wiper is so small then the salesman is like it only cleans that small corner because the screen uses magic to clean the rest up unfortunately magic doesn’t work on that tiny corner.
Worth every penny.
But did it actually sell? There’s been fake buyers on these Ferraris before to force a value increase.
