Super Mario Mixed With Grand Theft Auto Looks Like This

Following the plain weird Super Mario Odyssey trailer - which featured a mock-up of New York with some scary-looking 'real' humans - someone's put the famous Nintendo character in GTA IV

If you don’t tend to keep up with the gaming world, allow me to explain why this hilarious Mario/GTA mash-up has been created.

It follows a trailer for Super Mario Odyssey - released by Nintendo last week - which showed the world’s most famous video game character bouncing around ‘New Donk City’. It was clearly intended to be New York City, but weirdly, the diminutive, cartoony plummer could be seen hanging out with creepy, uncanny valley-spec humans who were for some reason twice the size.

Naturally, this lead to much mocking on the Internet, although YouTube CrowbCat took things one step further with the help of some GTA IV modding, making sure to include the right music and even some classic Mario sound effects. Super Mario has never looked so real…

I’m not gonna lie, that mario game looks very cool. In fact, I think I wanted them to make an open world Mario game since I was a kid.

Lets just hope that he’s not jumping into buildings and bridges for coins
