With the big debate about the Toyota GT86's limited power output still raging, and with the news that we're unlikely to get a 250bhp+ version any time soon, we decided to get behind the wheel of a supercharged GT86 to see how much difference a bit more power could actually make.

We're fresh out of the driver's seat of HKS Europe's supercharged GT86, but before we bring you our full review and verdict of that car (coming this week) we thought we'd whet your appetite with two stats: 270bhp and 0-60mph in under 6.0sec.
