Suspension Failure At 110mph Looks Absolutely Terrifying
When Elise Trophy and Lotus Cup racing driver Ryan Savage was taking a 110mph left-hander at Craner Curves, Donington, his Elise 111R suffered massive suspension failure. The result? A terrifying 100mph smash into concrete!
Amazingly, 17-year-old Ryan walked away from the smash with only a sore shoulder and bruising. The car, on the other hand, was a complete write-off as you can see in the pics below…
Earlier in the day, however, Ryan set the fastest ever Elise Trophy-spec lap of the circuit, which is well worth watching too:
