Tail Happy BMW M4 Filmed Doing Hot Laps On The Nurburgring

BMW's hotly anticipated new M4 model (it's new name for the forthcoming M3 coupe) has been filmed testing on the Nurburgring. In true M fashion, the M4 mule we see here sounds as glorious as we were hoping for, despite it losing out on two cylinders compared with the previous generation's 420bhp V8 lump.
Better still, the video below gives us proof that yes, the M4 will be tail happy hooner; it's 450bhp turbocharged, 3.0-litre, six-pot will make damn sure of that.

As for the transmission, that's an auto we're afraid to say; but is the same seven-speed, dual-clutch ‘box in the M5, so it's not all bad news.
