Take A Closer Look At The Bugatti Chiron With Chris Harris
Following on from the Top Gear review of the car, the Chiron gets the geekier, more in-depth Chris Harris Drives treatment
We may have already seen Chris Harris review the Chiron on Top Gear and race co-presenter Matt LeBlanc and ‘his’ Hondajet, but if that didn’t quite quench your thirst for car knowledge, this might. It’s the latest episode of Chris Harris Drives, shot out in the United Arab Emirates alongside the regular TG Chiron feature.
Here, you’ll see Harris geek out about everything from tyre pressures to aero devices. The big takeaway here? The Chiron has a bigger appetite for corners than you might expect…

The comment section be like “I’d still much rather have a stock S13, so much more driver involvement!”
The “driver involvement” thing is just stupid to me. Both the Supra and the R34 are pretty much computers on wheels, just like the R35 and the upcoming Supra. The F12 and the 991 GT3 RS both have lots of electronics, but they’re still both considered some of the best driving cars out there (well the 991.2 GT3 will have a manual transmission, but even with the PDK the 991 was considered a good driving car)
Unlike evryone I’d rather a Rolls Royce
The wealthy arab princes do underestimate the power of the car they just bought because money.Imagine a poor petrolhead winning a Bugatti…
I’d daily drive it, give people rides in it, take it to childrens hospital to make their day. I’d revv it, race with it, and take it to car shows.
when he go into car geek i switch off mentally, just say what good about it and move on you can do in depth without wasting so much time on silly stuff.
very boring video indeed.
Wow. That’s shallow.
The fact that Bugatti think this is mechanically the most power / speed ( I can’t remember ) they can produce is mental!
BMW: Dual Clutches can’t take much more than 600 horsepower so we are going to use planetary automatics instead
Bugatti: Hold our champagne
and how much does the bugatti dual clutch cost? 100000€ or more :D? Nothing is impossible, but you have to ask how much it costs… And cost is not the thing with bugatti. Remember: The Veyron did not make any profit for Volkswagen. The development was so expensive, they couldn’t profit of it. It was just marketing and prestige. I think the chiron is not the same case, but still not that profitable…
