The Tesla P90D is capable of 0-60mph in around 2.8 seconds using electric motors with the equivalent of 762bhp and turns out to be in a completely different league to the best from ‘Murica.

Faster in a straight line, yes, but around a track, the muscle cars are faster, as they have better handling and brakes

You also have to realize that the Tesla costs almost $96,500, and that’s the base price. Not to mention all wheel drive and a limited speed of 155 MPH.
In the second drag race with the Z06, the Tesla red lighted, so technically the ZO6 won that one.
