Text And Drive Is A Hilarious Online Game That Highlights The Stupidity Of Using A Phone While Driving
Despite being stupidly dangerous, a worrying amount of people choose to text while they drive, taking their attention away from the road and occasionally having serious accidents as a result. To highlight how moronic such multitasking is, there are a number of brilliant online games that let you try it in the virtual world.
One is simply called ‘Text And Drive,’ which is demoed in the video below by the hilarious PewDiePie. Players must click a series of buttons in the correct order to send a message while trying to steer a car on a multi-lane bridge. Get the order wrong, and you send a garbled text. The car automatically swerves away from danger up to five times, but if you get into trouble after that, you’ll have a crash.
Fancy giving it a go? Click here to play the game; you’ll need to install Unity Web Player for it to work.
If that whets your appetite for simple yet weirdly addictive texting-while-driving games, we recommend you check out SMS Racing, which is basically the same idea but played out on a circuit. With a little more swearing.
