These Amazing Lego Group B Creations Need To Happen

I’m sure we’ve harped on about the Lego Ideas system by now for you to know the score. The concept sees creative Lego builders upload their awesome home-brewed kits, and if given enough votes of support, the creations can go through to a ‘review’ stage before being turned into real products.
The Ideas platform is awash with cars, and not so long ago a Caterham 7 build passed the 10,000 vote threshold before being reviewed and made into a commercially available set. Following in the Caterham’s footsteps we have this incredible pair of Group B rally cars, intended to be part of the ‘Speed Champions’ series.

The Peugeot 205 T16 (top image) and Lancia Delta S4 (above) from user AbFab1974 have caught the attention of the world’s motoring press this week, and quite rightfully so. With 5453 votes already, the T16 has a good chance of progressing to the review stage.

It gets better, as the user has a bunch of other cool Speed Champions-style sets up on the site, including a Bugatti EB110 and a Lamborghini Miura.
Make sure you register your support, and keep your fingers crossed…

The one time your co-driver will never tell you to “step on it”…
Better than James May’s efforts
Flatout crest jump, caution underfoot into acute pain followed by swearing.
Even without stickers, those looks normal.
Lets be honest, Group B cars looks boxy.
What’s the difference between this and the real cars?
Your feet will be okay if you step on the real cars, but the same cannot be said for these.
If I buy one will people think I am crazy as I have just turned 15
Why does everybody think T16 and Delta S4 were the most legendary ones? S1 and RS200 are at the same level, if not above
Built not bought yo
That’s a pretty good looking S4, must say. EB110 is just a tad long, IMO
The barriers are unrealistic, there should be people right in front of the car making a step back in the last moment!
