A charity auction is up and running to benefit the two daughters of late IndyCar driver Justin Wilson, who sadly passed away from head injuries sustained in an accident during the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway last month.

Hosted by eBay, the auction started on the 14 September and bidding will close on the 26 October at 9:00pm EST. A whole host of memorabilia is being sold to raise money for the Wilson Children’s Fund, from not only IndyCar but also F1, Nascar and FIA WEC.

Some incredible items have been donated by racing drivers and teams, including a race-worn F1 helmet from Jenson Button, race suit, gloves and boots from Fernando Alonso and a race suit from IndyCar champion Scott Dixon.

There will be six waves of the auction, with more items being added up until the bidding closes. The motorsport world has come together to help reach the charity’s target of raising at least $1 million for Wilson’s wife and two children.
