These LED Wheels Could Revolutionise The Tuning Scene Forever
While this looks and sounds complicated, the technology itself is fairly simple and easy to install. Integrated into each wheel is a directional and speed-sensitive circuit board that ensures the image is projected correctly at all times. The rims never need charging because power is generated as the wheels spin and there’s also a wireless remote, which enables you to change your designs on the move. To upload your graphics/video, all you do is plug in a USB stick into the USB port. You can read more details here.

If you’re in the tuning scene and this tech has caught your imagination, then you’d better hope for deep pockets. An entry-level set of four LED chrome rims will cost from $11,000 (£6500), while the most expensive carbonfibre pieces are priced at $14,200 (£8500) for the set. It’s important to remember, however, that this isn’t the first time LED wheels have been put on a car, but this appears to be the most polished and user-friendly version of the tech.

While it’s great to see wheels used in such a novel way, however, we can’t help but think of an obvious flaw; what happens if the car’s owner decides to display a particularly juicy episode of Breaking Bad at 70mph?
