Thrashing A V12 Ferrari 250 Breadvan Like This Takes Balls Of Steel
The V12 of this Ferrari Breadvan provides an incredible soundtrack as the car is liberally thrashed at an Oldtimer Grand Prix event
The Ferrari 'Breadvan' is a version of the 250 GT which was modified by engineer Giotto Bizzarrini and coachbuilder Piero Drogo to compete in the 1962 World Sportscar Championship. The roofline was extended all the way to the back of the car in the name of better aerodynamics.
This gave it a distinctive shooting-brake style look, earning it the 'Breadvan' nickname. Several of the 3.0-litre V12-powered 250s had the conversion applied, one of which can be seen being given a damn good thrashing in this video.
