Today was a car show.. and I had to go.. #blogpost

Today was Pakwheels yet another organized Auto show that is held every year end. And for this time I knew I would see something really special.. because I had a feeling I will..

Let’s kick things up with this.. the star of the show in my opinion.. regardless of 800 WHP Supra attending the car show or a Rocket Bunny RX7 being there as well.. but nothing made me turn into a small girl like the NSX did..

It’s the only one in the country, with a manual gearbox.. what more do you want? And I always wanted to see this since I started to like it quite recently.. after all, it’s what Honda made best in the 90s and was forged by the hands of Aryton Senna..

Then came the Skyline R34, probably one of the two R34s in the city.. as much I love the Skyline this one wasn’t really cutting it.. the bonnet was replaced with some weird overlly exaggerated ‘look at me’ one and the condition wasn’t really on par. However you can’t deny the fact it’s a real GT-R so you gotta deal with it!

After that, we encountered two nicely but almost stock R33 Skylines.. in fact, the red one was completely stock and wasn’t the victims of those ‘2JZ swapped cars’ in the list. The owner himself said the swapping of Nissan engines with Toyota is actually a disgrace especially with Skylines.. so with that, he kept this one pretty nicely..

Then thats pretty much it, after that we saw bunch of EVOS, RX7 and 8s, 350Zs and loads of other JDM heroes.. funny enough there was a completely different section for Honda Civic owners just so incase if ricers wanted to show up, they wouldn’t bother the whole car gathering atmosphere with their fart cans.. and the fact the there were only 2 supercars in the whole event, the Ferrari 360 and the F430 Spyder, no Audi R8 apparently show up..

However if it wasn’t for that NSX the visiting to this car show wouldn’t convince me enough to come here, I am glad I saw that, and hopefully even drive one in the future!
