Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.

SPOILER That epilogue by Matt before the rocket launch was actually really moving, great introduction to the series,
Seriously good in my opinion. Need a bit of work in the studio bit that’ll come. The films where spectacular. And, we need to mention DAT FERRARI.
A marked improvement over Chris Evans’… Attempt? But I reckon it’ll take a while to win fans over. (I liked it though.)
I better go watch now lol
Spoiler Alert I’m thoroughly impressed overall; for a start, Harris’ driving skill adds a bit of extra flavour to the Slidey, trick-camera Supercar films, since we’re left in awe at how he’s able to keep a 1050 bhp track car on the straight and narrow. I think the GT86 is quite an interesting choice for a Celebrity car, as the addition of RWD definitely gave James McAvoy some entertaining slidey action in the wet (I do wonder if Chris’ shouty tutorial sessions might get a little stale after a while, but that remains to be seen), but I’m not sure about effectively splitting the Star segment in two; I guess that since the two segments on their own are quite short, the guest segment didn’t drag anywhere near as much as it had done during certain Clarkson and Co. episodes. Finally, the high-miler challenge; I like that there was a genuine purpose to this, and the cars themselves were quite interesting and memorable; the challenges along the way scored bonus points for delving into a bit of the local Kazakhstan culture! Overall, a good episode that I enjoyed pretty much from start to finish; I’ll definitely be tuning in next week :)
Spot on! I liked how I didn’t feel the need to turn over during the guest part…
I actually thought thay this was better than the last of the clarkson era top gear. The humour wasn’t forced which made it so much more enjoyable to watch. Thank god they got rid of the rally cross circuit. That was my least favourite part of series 23. Really looking forward to next week
