Is Toyota's Aqua The Least Cool Convertible Since The Micra CC?

When we think of the least cool car ever made, the Nissan Micra CC takes some beating. Its reign as the most embarrassing ride could soon come under threat though, if Toyota decide to make their 'Aqua' concept a production reality.

This dinky convertible concept - which has the lamest car name we've ever heard - will be appearing at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, and could be a precursor to a new compact roadster.

Here's hoping whatever Toyota end up selling is made available in colours other than bright pink. The Aqua features a hybrid powertrain, with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, electric motor and CVT 'box. That'll make the Aqua good for around 100bhp and 100mpg.

Tempted? Thought not.
