This Twisted Chevrolet Parody Video Is Pure Evil Genius

Following a commercial about the Malibu - which featured 'impartial' people who definitely weren't paid (although we all know that's BS) - this evil parody video was made as a funny two fingers up at Chevrolet...

Here’s the original commercial on which this evil/funny parody is based…

The luxury companies wouldn’t dare make an experiment like this because every single person would estimate it’s price less than it costs. :D

Nah, it´s so stupid and so embarassing to remove logos and say, htat people are thinking about Škoda/Chevy/Kia, that it´s an Audi, BMW or Bentley… Yeah, lot of new cars looks very similar and use same design elements and lot of non-car people are “stupid” about cars, but not blind yet… Great parody!

Seriously, before the video said it, I thought the Malibu was actually a Kia.

Am I the only one on this website that likes Chevrolet and the rest of General Motors?

I don’t dislike them per say, I just hate their ad campaigns. Just make a commercial that is not trying to compare it to another brand (or try to discredit another brand). Sell the car on what it is, not what it isn’t.

Dude

“Real people, not actors” people use terms that the company uses to try and sell the car. Yea, totally buying that they didn’t know it was a Chevy.

I would never have made it into the commercial. Before seeing the front end I would have said it was a Kia, or Toyota. Once I got to the front though I would have recognized it as a Chevy.

It’s 29k. Unless you want the one with actual seats and an actual engine. That one costs 40k.

GM could take a few hints from the marketing department of Chrysler and it’s subsidiaries. Their cars may not be regarded as highly as some competitors but they sure as hell know how to market a product!
