Updated Pic Gallery: A Revealing Image Of Jag's New SUV Has Landed

This revealing image of Jaguar's forthcoming new SUV model - dubbed C-X17 - has been leaked online. While the front-on image we showed you on Friday didn't give us much to go on, the pic above reveals the C-X17's fairly squat proportions, high shoulder lines and 'soft-roader' plastic moldings on the lower part of the front bumper and sides.

The image also reveals that the C-X17 concept is a four-seat model, which isn't a design feature we're expecting to find on the 2015 production model.

The C-X17 concept is the first new car to introduce Jag's advanced, modular aluminium platform that will be also be used to underpin Jaguar's forthcoming BMW 3-series rival and new XF models.

Full details of Jaguar's new SUV will be streamed live from 17:10 CET on Monday.
